Well, so much for a 'great' Monday Night Football game...
The New England Patriots stomped all over the Houston Texans. This one was over before it even began. The final score was 42-14... WOW!

NFL: Packers/Lions Preview
Lions 27
Packers 28
My Take: Probably another close battle. If Detroit is truly desperate enough, they could pull of the victory though...

MLB News: A-Rod Injury Update
Alex Rodriguez says that he will have hip surgery in mid-January. He is expected to miss up to six months.
My Take: I assume he is holding off the surgery because of the holidays. However, fans will not be too pleased with him 'taking his time' in getting back.

TNA Impact Wrestling Rating
TNA Impact Wrestling scored a 0.98 rating on Thursday night.
My Take: Same old story. Their live shows will continue again on 1-3-13. Until then, they are taping episodes through the holiday.

WWE/Yahoo Partner For Rolling Stones Concert
WWE and Yahoo will help promote the upcoming Rollings Stones concert next Saturday night. WWE will help produce the pay-per-view event live, while Yahoo will show exclusive content leading up the the show.
My Take: WWE has been hyping this up for awhile. It is not known how much money WWE is getting to run this pay-per-view. It was noted that the legendary band initially reached out to them, not vice versa.

NFL News: Packers Re-Sign Ryan Grant
The Green Bay Packers have brought back running back Ryan Grant. He is expected to play on Sunday.
My Take: Cedric Benson is done for the season. James Starks is going to miss a few weeks, maybe even the rest of the season as well. The team needed to do this. It just feels like this could have been done during the off-season, instead of an emergency move in December.

MLB News: Nationals Sign Pitcher
Dan Haren and the Nationals have agreed to a 1 year/$13 million deal.
My Take: This is on the basis of all the medicals coming back okay, which has been a problem for Haren in the past. With this signing, one can assume Zack Greinke isn't heading to the Nationals.

WWE: John Cena Makes Announcement
John Cena has announced that he will wrestle Heath Slater next week on Saturday Morning Slam.
My Take: The 30 minute kid's morning show has done surprisingly well for the CW Network. My guess is WWE wants to capitalize and promote a Cena match to gain even more viewers.
