Stephen Strasburg Pitch Count Update

The Washington National's manager (Davey Johnson) said that pitching phenom, Stephen Strasburg, has "probably" two or three starts left before being shut down for the season. Of course, the Nats are one of the best teams in the league and are primed for a deep playoff run in October. There is over a month left in the regular season.

This is being done to protect his young arm. You don't want to work him too much coming off a serious surgery (last year). At the same time, this team may never get another shot at a World Series. Do you risk his long-term health for a shot at the MLB title right now?

Good question.
