According to ESPN.com and CBSSports.com writer Michael Freeman have confirmed that the Patriots have signed TE Kellen Winslow Jr. today. There are rumors he failed a physical two weeks ago, so that may cause a delay.
If everything checks out, this is a hit or miss move. If it succeeds, the Patriots look great. If it fails, no harm - no foul. Obviously, the organization is worried about their TE Aaron Hernandez being injured, so they had to go out and sign somebody. We will see how it goes...
