PWinsider reports the following news. For the full story, visit their website.
United States District Judge James Whittemore has shot down
Hulk Hogan's request for a preliminary injunction against website Gawker.com and
other "associated defendants" to force the website to remove the one minute clip
of Hogan's sex tape with Heather Clem. Judge Whittemore ruled that Hogan "failed
to show that immediate and irreparable injury, loss or damage" would take place
if the material was not removed.
A hearing on the injunction has been set for
11/8 in Tampa where all sides will argue over the motion and the Judge can make
his final ruling. It will not be open to the public.
Again, this comes from PWInsider. At this point, you have to assume Hogan got his "15 minutes" of fame, got his publicity, got his name out in the media, and will now fade into the background once again.,
