NLDS: Cards Shock The Nats

Wow.

The Cardinals are never done and out, are they? Yet again, they found a way to win and advance in the MLB Playoffs. Just ridiculous will these guys have...

The Nationals, at home, were leading 6-0 at one point Friday night. In the end, it did not matter. The Cards staged a huge rally in the 9th inning to escape with a Game 5 victory. Now, they face the Giants in the NLCS. while the Nats go home for the winter.

There will be two "controversial" side notes coming out of this game.

1. The Nats had what looked like a strike three call to win the game in the 9th inning. However, the ump called it a ball, and the inning continued. Of course, the Cards ended up taking the lead minutes later.

2. Stephen Strasburg! Sorry, but you know the topic is going to come up. I was not a fan of the Nats shutting him down from the beginning, and karma came back to bite them. Whether he would have made a difference or not, that decision will be questioned for years and years to come.
