WWE Raw Rating News

WWE Raw scored a 2.9 television rating for last night's show. Just counting the final two hours, it would have been a 3.0 rating. As expected, the first hour drew way less viewers than the "normal" two hours.

Also of note, Monday Night Football returned for the NFL on ESPN with major numbers for their double-header. Last year against the NFL Monday Night Football opener, Raw scored a 2.7 TV rating.

Mixed bag here. Yes, it is better than last year's number. No, football games on Monday night are not going away until late December. In any event, WWE needs viewers in that first hour, or it will be a long Fall season for them...
